About
Through a data-driven and analytical approach to outreach and advocacy, Black Lives Matter Boston works to “end state-sanctioned violence against Black people, to support strengthening the Black community, as well as create networks where Black people feel empowered to determine our destinies in our communities.” In their signature CurbFest events, BLM pairs basic aid (food, clothing, etc.) with letter-writing campaigns for domestic political prisoners. For BLM, volunteerism is key to simultaneously learning about and positively impacting society.
