As the only comprehensive rape crisis center in the Greater Boston area, Boston Area Rape Crisis Center (BARCC) provides free, confidential services to survivors of sexual violence ages 12 and up, and continues to assist them post-crisis as they navigate the healthcare, legal, social service, and school systems. BARCC also advocates for change by providing tools and technical assistance to organizations and institutions to prevent sexual violence. Volunteers are at the center of service delivery.
